In wall parquetry, about 450 pieces placed edge
to edge and side by side are required to cover
a square meter which represents about eight hours of work, not counting the preparation of the pieces
and their cleaning. An experienced worker can only produce one square meter per day.

A small screen decorated on both sides with fans
(4 sheets of 60 by 20 cm) similar to those done
by Jean-Michel Frank, requires about 70 hours' work and 20 hours' in simple parquetry.

Stéphane Diss practice this art,
both on furniture and wall coverings
and will supply prices and quotations on request.
